Rebuilding the Rubble

On January 12, 2010, the country of Haiti was forever changed by a devastating earthquake that hit in the Port-au-Prince area. In just a matter of seconds, the residents of this area lost their homes, jobs, family members, friends, transportation, and almost all hope. That hope doesn't have to be lost forever.

It has been over a month since the earthquake hit, and the country is still in as desperate need as ever for support, hope, and love. These are intangible items. There are no ways to measure hope, but through relationships it can be shown. In order to Haiti to be rebuilt, Haitians must see the hope in living for tomorrow.

The purpose of this blog is to show how we are Rebuilding the Rubble. The country and the lives of those affected by it are laying in different stages of rubble; some figuratively, some physically. This blog will show you stories of people who have made it through the toughest part. It is all down hill from here. Lets rebuild Haiti together, and in the process figure out something about ourselves.
