Texan in France: French Military at the Louvre

After we dropped off our bags at the hotel in Paris, our group of roughly 40 people from Texas and Canada set out for the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa, Code of Hammurabi, and other famous pieces of art.

Instead of simply visiting the Louvre again, I wanted to make this experience unique. The art by itself is stunning, but on my earlier trip to Paris, I had seen all of it.

To make this happen, I carried along my Texas flag as well as my button-down shirt of the flag of Texas and began to take pictures of the memorable spots throughout the museum.

During one of these photo shoots, a French military man in full uniform came over to me and sternly asked me stop. Luckily it was not until after I had taken plenty of photos for you all to enjoy.
