Change Something You Do Daily

You will never change your life until you change something that you do daily.

That might be working out for an hour, spending an extra hour reading, or having more time with your family.

It is easy to think that your actions today will not have a long-range effect on your life. In some ways this is true. Watching TV for an extra hour today is not going to cause you to be a lifelong bum.

But watching that same hour of TV each day over a year is equal to losing 12 days off the calendar!

I bet you can think of something you could do with 12 more days. Vacation? Read a few books?

The point I am trying to make is that until you put your daily habits in line with your long-term goals, your long-term goals will stay out of reach due to your lack of effort.

A collection of days make up your weeks. Weeks turn into months. Months into years. Years into a lifetime.

If you want to reach your goals, change something that you do daily.

We are 4 days into 2012. How are your resolutions coming along?
